How old are you?

I am 24 years old

You come of what region of the Thailand?

I am of Thungsong in Nakhon Si Thammarat's region (the South of the Thailand)

Have you brothers and sisters?

We are four in the family

You have a brother who fights?

Yes my small brother also fights…

You were a brawler when you were a child?

No…

You began the boxing at which age?

In 9 years

Your first fight you made him for which age?

From 9 years, after 2 months only of training

How did you discover the boxing?

It is my uncle who made me discover the boxing…

You began Muay Thai in which camp?

In a small camp to Thungsong who is called Petnakon

You have made how much fight for this camp?

Approximately 50 fights

You always stayed in this camp?

Not at about 14 years I went to the camp Kiatchongkhao to 15 km of Thungsong, and it has been 10 years since I am in Kiatchongkhao

You have your room in the camp?

Not I have my house near the camp

When you are going to fight in Bangkok, it is long the route, it is difficult for a boxer of the South to go to fight often in the capital?

Yes Bangkok it is far from Thungsong but in Bangkok I went to the camp Lukbanyai and to the camp Chuwattana for me train before my fights to Radja. Then as I often fought in Bangkok, I stayed in the camp Kiatphontip, I trained over there and I fought for this camp…

I gained two belts. I gained the belt of Thailand against Petchasawin in 2009 and the belt of Radja against Winailek in 2010, I defended my title a few months later again against Winailek, I won at points…

120 fights, 90 victories, 30 defeats

You gained many fights by KO?

Just 3 or 4 victories by KO

 

You have which style of boxing?

I am Fimeuu (technician) but also Muay Khao (with knees)

What was your hardest fight?

My fight against Thalangchai, it is very strong with his fists, it very hurt me with his fists…

Your best memory of boxing?

My victory on Petchasawin Seatransferry for the belt of Thailand!

What are the known Thai boxers whom you faced?

Jomthong, Daoprakay, Jaroenchai, Petchasawin, Thalangchai, Winailek, Sakadpetch, Chok Eminent Air, Saksurin…

You have already fought abroad?

Yes twice, in England and in France. I fought against Liam Harrison in England, I lost in points but I was not trained correctly, I had only some weeks of preparation. In France it was in Lyon, I won against Hocine Benoui

What do you think of your fight against Benoui?

It was a beautiful fight. Benoui is a good fighter, he moreover touched me several times with his tip (front kick) the chin…

And your fight against Liam?

It is a good fighter but I would like to meet him again…

You would like to come to fight again in France?

Yes of course, there is very good fighters in France

You know French boxers?

I know Fabio Pinca who gained Thai Fight and that also who in fought in the TV7, Damien (Alamos)

To part Pinca which I saw boxing in Thai Fight, I cannot say because I do not know too much the farangs boxers (foreigner)…

I have to fight at the end of March to Surathani against a farang, I do not know his name…

I would like to open my camp to Thungsong in the South

Samsamut is a very strong fighter with the knees, his mastery of the clinch is redoubtable. He has no more his belt of Radja and fight less often in Bangkok lately.
