Serge TREFEU: Hello, how are you?

PAJONSUK LOOKPRABAT: Well, I’m in good shape

How old are you?

I am 32 years old 

You come of what region of the Thailand?

I am of Lopburi, the city of the monkeys which is very known in Thailand, the monkeys are very light-fingered here (laughter)

You are to marry, you have children?

Yes and I have two daugthers

You have brothers and sisters?

I have an older brother and a younger brother

Your brothers fight? 

My older brother is a fighter, we are two boxers in the family…

Teenager you were rather a brawler or at all?

Not too much, really I fought practically never…

You began the boxing at which age?

In 6 years

Six years it is very early, you fought from the age of six years?

Yes and I lost in points my first fight but I gained 200 bahts and in 6 years it was a beautiful sum for me (Laughter)

How you discovered the boxing?

My father was a former boxer, it is him who made me discover the boxing and it is him who taught me the first ones base of Muay Thai, we are fighter’s family…

You began Muay Thai in which camp?

In a small camp near Lopburi, it was not a big camp but we were many fighters, the camp closed now…

You fought a lot for this camp?

I have make approximately 50 fights for this camp…

In what camp you were then?

I went to the camp Lookprabat which belongs 20 km of Lopburi, in Saraburi, and I have make all my career in Lookprabat

To the camp Lookprabat there were many of the good boxers?

Yes many of the great champions, there was Jonglex, Kompetch, Bunlaedech, Wongkod, Wuttidet, Rungruanglek and many others, it was one of the best camps of Thailand!

You lived in the camp?

Yes I shared my room with several other boxers

In what category you fought?

In Thailand I fought at first in 140 lbs then in 147 lbs (67 kg) and abroad in 70 kg

What are the titles which you gained?

I gained the belt of Lumpinee in 147 lbs, World champion WMC’s belt in 140 lbs, World champion IKKC’s belt in 140 lbs and World champion WPKL’s belt in 72 kg. I was also twice golden medal in the championships of Asia of Wushu (Chinese Martial art)!

Your belt of Lumpinee you gained against whom?

Against Kaolan Kaovichit (3 times Lumpinee Champion, World champion WMC), it was in 2002, one it’s met 4 times in all with Kaolan, I once beat him and he beat me three times, it’s a great champion!

How much have you make of fights, how much have you of victory and defeat?

I have make approximately 300 fights with only about fifty defeats!

You gained many fights by KO?

Not a lot only 20 victories by KO!

You have which style of boxing?

I am “Muay Bouk” (fighter who moves forward permanently on his opponent)

What technique you love most in fight?

Low kick and especially high kick, I love high kick in fight!

 

 

What was your hardest fight in your career?

In Thailand against Thongthai (Radja champion), it is a very hard fighter, abroad it was in Holland against Rayen Simson, he was very strong, very powerful, with his fists he hurt me, I lost in points against him…

Your best memory of boxing until today?

My victory on Japanese Sato in Amsterdam, Sato is a great champion, it’s the only one who beat Buakaw by KO!

 

 

What are the known fighters whom you have to face?

He had a lot, Thongthai (victory), Namsaknoi (1 victory, 1 defeat), Kaolan (1 victory, 3 losses), Seanchai (1 victory, 1 defeat), Matee (victory), Sato (victory), Souwer (defeat), Shakuta (victory), Mes (victory), Simson (defeat), Lima (victory), Drago (defeat)…

You fought a lot abroad, how much fight you made abroad?

I have make about twenty fights abroad, I fought a lot in Holland, also in Japan, I fought three times in Japan with three victories, in Korea, in the United States, in Germany…

 

 

And in France, you have already fought?

In France not never but I had a French girlfriend (Laughter)

You know French boxers?

Yes I know well Stong Skarbowsky, he is a great champion, and it’s my friend, moreover I give him hello by means of this interview!

For you who is the best nakmuay foreigner?

I would say in the time Ramon Dekkers after Skarbowsky, it was very strong, today I find Italian very strong Giorgio Petrosyan. If I come back fighting in Europe it’s him whom I would like to meet!

And the best Thai boxer at present it is who for you?

I cannot say to you, now in Thailand there are many of the good boxers…

Who was your promoter?

In Thailand it was Petchyindee, abroad it was « It’s Show Time »

 

 

You made well your living with the boxing?

Yes I earned a lot of money, I bought my house, a car, I opened my own camp to Lopburi, Pajonsuk Gym. But I had to close temporarily because I injured myself the hand and I cannot train any more. But I am again going to open in a few months. So I have a big passion, I collect Buddha’s amulets, I have many of it of the big values (He shows me two boxes filled with amulets), look in these boxes there has for several million bahts!

What was the amount of your purse?

I gained good purses, with the « It’s Show Time » I had 10 000-dollar purse, I fought a lot for them!

Today you opened a camp?

Yes, I became a trainer and I opened my own camp which is called Pajonsuk Gym. He is to 5 km of Lopburi. But I broke myself the hand and I had to stop everything, the fights, the trainings, I am in reeducation for my hand. As soon as it gets better, I open again my camp and I would even like to come back for the fights, I too much want to fight still!

This great champion has to represent the Lookprabat camp for a long time, it’s a formidable warrior who beat great champions as Thongthai Por Burapha, Namsaknoi Yutthakarnkamtorn, Kaolan Kaovichit, Seanchai Sor Kingstar, Matee Jedeepitak, Yoshihiro Sato, Dmitry Shakuta, Joerie Mes, Aalviar Lima!
He also made fights of madnesses against Rayen Simson, Youness El Mhassani, Andy Souwer and Gago Drago!

Pajonsuk was also an excellent boxer in Boxing because he gained amateurishly the golden medal in King Cup in Bangkok and the silver medal in the Games of Asia in Quatar!
In 2010, Pajonsuk had participated in the TV program “It’s Showtime Reality “, a broadcast which looked like famous “Contendeur Asia”, the Reality show which had for theme Muaythaï. The broadcast “It’s Showtime Reality ” took place on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand where several fighters had to be in confrontation in a tournament. Pajonsuk lost in points finale against the big winner in this TV program Reality, the Dutch Gago Drago!
