The Sor Srisompong camp « glorious Sompong » is in the village of Chom Phra in 30 kilometers of the city of Surin, in the region of the northeast. It is a typical camp, lost in the countryside, at the heart of the region of Isaan. On the right of the camp, a small home-made arena was built to welcome fighting cocks. Generally, it is the weekend that people of the camp organize its secret fights of cock, one moment of relaxation where bets are opened!
Sor Srisompong was created by Sompong Supawat Thana, businessman and politician of the region of Surin.

Camp exists for more than twenty years and in product of numerous champions. In the 2000s, Sor Srisompong was has real factory champion, around thirty boxers of top levels trained one has daily basis. It was the most important camp of the region!
But today there is only of handful children which train for it, and some good fighters has Singkhao Sor Srisompong and Sakaopet Sor Srisompong who fights a lot in the stadium Asawindam (TV9) of Bangkok. The champions who made the beautiful days of Sor Srisompong all left in big camps of the capital. The camp is has little bit deserted, there was not more than has shadow of the stars who made the glory of Sor Srisompong…
Several champions went out of celebrates camp, Sor Srisompong Gym raking it near about ten belts of the big stadiums of Bangkok, which is enormous for a small camp of province!
Among the great champions who have to represent camp he had formidable Samrandech Sor Srisompong who gained three belts of the radja in three different categories, Thepnakorn Sor Srisompong who was Radja Champion and TV9 Champion, Bantatdong Sor Srisompong (Radja Champion), Kongla Sor Srisompong (TV9 Champion), Siplainoi Sor Srisompong (TV9 Champion and Isaan Champion), as well as Sonling and Padectsuc who were also fighters very hardly!
But the star of the camp which became one of the champions the most known in Thailand, it is terrible Singmanee Sor Srisompong. When he was in the Sor Srisompong gym, Singmanee gained in 2007 the belt of Radja in 140 lbs and World champion WMC’s belt in 140 lbs. He threw in his belt of Radja twice with two successes. Then, Singmanee left with Thepnakorn to the camp Sit O Inter to Phuket, Singmanee stayed there one year and Thepnakorn always belongs to the Sit O Inter.
Today, Singmanee is in the camp Keawsamrit in Bangkok. In 2012, Singmanee took away the top tournament Isuzu Cup in 147 lbs, World champion WPMF’s belt in 147 lbs and the famous tournament Thai Fight in 67 kg!
