The Tournament Tiger Cement, in Thai ” Muayrop Poun Seua ” (Muayrop: Tournament, Poun: Cement, Seua: Tiger) was created in 2001. He’s sponsored by the company of construction product SCG Cement which is the second most large company of Thailand!
FAMOUS LOGO TOURNAMENT « TIGER CEMENT » (ปูนเสือ) !
Mr. Chatchai Prettitumrong is the president administrator of the company SCG Cement whose head office is in Bangkok in the district of Bangsue.
Today, this tournament in the world of Muay Thai in Thailand became so famous as the Tournament Isuzu which takes place every year in the stadium of Omnoi!
This big Tournament also takes place once a year, but the Tournament Tiger Cement takes place in the mythical TV7 stadium!
The famous promoter Mr. Phirapong Theradeatpong more known under the name of Chun Kietpetch is associated all years with this event. Because the TV7 stadium belongs to him half, the other half is in the army…
MR. CHUN KIETPETCH (CENTER) IS THE PROMOTER OF THE TOURNAMENT!
The organizers of this great Tournament absolutely want every years it’s young champions who represent the Tournament Tiger Cement, boxers who have generally between 17 years and 20 years. Because the promotion around this tournament is centred on the ” Fight against drugs within the Thai youth “. The tournament which is live broadcast on the TV7 thus has to incite the young people to go in for sport rather than to be tempted by the way of the drug which leads towards to an impasse…
At the beginning of the year, 16 fighters among the best boxers of the category 115 lbs and 118 lbs are selected. The drawing lots for the first group matches with place every year in a luxurious hotel of the capital.

Then, all year round, the boxers are going to be in confrontation during several matches which will take place, of course, in the TV7 stadium.

But the big final of prestigious Tournament sometimes takes place in an immense stadium for impact of the event, a stadium in Bangkok or somewhere else in the country which can welcome a great deal of people!

The winner in this famous Tournament gains the enormous 500 000-baht sum, it’s an earnings important for his camp and especially a big pride for his Team!
The first belt “Tiger Cement” was taken away in 2001 by Denisalam Wanmaninoi (Sidja Kietbanchong) of the famous camp of Bangkok the Kietbanchong Gym!

In 2002, it’s Kanchay Kor Bangkrouay who wins the final of the Tournament Tiger Cement. For year 2003, Namsuk Petchsuphapan gains the belt of the Tournament Tiger Cement in 118 lbs!
In 2004, it’s the great champion Paowarit Setinyunyong (World champion IKF, WPMF) from the camp Sasiprapa Gym which pockets the trophy!

Thongchai Kiatprapat wins the tournament in 2005 and Serthi Erawan, just has all 20-year-old, takes away the sixth tournament Tiger Cement in 2006, he will gain then in 2008 the belt TV7 in 118 lbs!

In 2007, the big final of the tournament takes place in the TV7 stadium with still a champion of the camp Sasiprapa, Nongaan Sitmolambat who faces Thaweesaklek Ploisakdaa, Nongaan beats in points Thaweesaklek and wins the belt!

The young Kongkiat Thor Pran 49 (World champion WPMF), in 19 years, wins the Tournament Tiger Cement of year 2011. After his victory in the tournament, in his home town to Maedjem, the young champion was triumphantly welcomed. Kongkiat paraded in all the city by wearing his belt, the champion was followed by a long procession of the students of his high school!
KONGKIAT FROM CAMP THOR PRAN 49 IS LOCATED IN THE REGION OF CHONBURI!
Semapetch Sor Chaowalit who comes from a quite small camp to the North of the Thailand, near Chiangrai, and who fights for the camp Sor Sopit managed of the exploit to win the belt of the tournament Tiger Cement in 2012!
SEMAPETCH SOR CHAOWALIT IS ONE OF THE RARE CHAMPIONS OF THE REGION OF CHIANGRAI!
In 2013, in the stadium ” Bangkok Thai Youth Center “, full to bursting, the young Rungphet Petchcharoen (19 years), beats by KO Singphonchay Sor Sarunia (18 years) and becomes the 13th champion of the Tournament Tiger Cement!

The Final of 14th Tournament Tiger Cement, in 2014, is organized in the new stadium of Lumpinee. October 5th, 5000 people are going to attend the meeting between Sakoonchaylek Dabpangnakhonban (TV7 Champion in 105 lbs) and Kaokarat Jitmuangnon, these two young champions belong to camps which are the most renowned of the country, the Petsiri Gym for Sakoonchaylek who is 17 years old and Jitmuangnon Gym for Kaokarat who is 19 years old!
The big winner is the boy wonder Sakoonchaylek who imposes by points in front of Kaokarat. Sakoonchaylek made a perfect performance for it 14th Tournament Tiger Cement, by beating by KO in the third round Singdam Chor Kow Yu Isuzu, Phetsombat Mobaetkamala by KO for the fourth round, Mhesakdi Phitakpadaeng and Kaokarat Jitmuangnon!
