How old are you?
I am 41 years old
What is that you are married, do you have children?
Yes I am married and I have two children, a girl and a boy
Your son is a boxer?
Yes but he just has a practice for the exercise, he does not make fight…
You come of what region of the Thailand?
I was born to Amnat Jaroen in the province of Ubon Ratchathani in the Northeast of the Thailand
What is what you have brothers and sisters?
I have two brothers and a sister
Your brothers fought?
Yes they were fighters but they were not known…
You began the boxing at which age?
I began the boxing at the age of 14
In what age you have make your first fight?
In 14 years, I won by TKO at the third round, I gained 100 bahts…
You were a brawler at the school?
Yes sometimes I fought at the school, sometimes also in the street (Laughter)
How you discovered the boxing?
Thanks to my father and my older brother who was a fighter…
In what camp you began your formation?
I began to the camp Sit Pongtap to Ubon Ratchathani because my brother trained in this camp…
You have make how much fight for this camp?
I have make approximately 20 fights for Sit Pongtap
You changed camp then?
Then, I went to the camp Sor Sumalee
Always to Ubon Ratchathani?
Yes I have make my career in this camp…

Towards what age you have make your first fight in Bangkok?
I have make my first fight for the stadium of Lumpinee in 16 years!
How much you have make of fight for the stadium of Lumpinee?
I think of more than 100 fights!
In what category you fought?
At first in 115 lbs, then in 126 lbs and in 130 lbs!
What are the titles which you gained?
I gained my first belt of Lumpinee in 115 lbs, on April 30th, 1993, against Jaroenchap Kiatbanchong, my second belt of Lumpinee in 126 lbs, on May 21st, 1996, against Matee Jedipitak, my third belt of Lumpinee in 130 lbs, on December 19th, 1997, against Samkor Kietmontep, and in 1999 again the belt of Lumpinee in 130 lbs against Rambojiew Don Golf Service, and on March 27th, 2004 I gained world champion WPKL’s belt in 135 lbs in Rotterdam against the Dutchman Mustapha Ziani!

How much have you make of fights?
I have make approximately 200 fights for 150 victories and 4 draws!
You had which style of boxing?
I was Muay Khao (Strong in knees)
What was your technique preferred in fight?
The knocks of knees, of course!
What was your hardest fight?
I did not love puncheurs fighters, against Boonlai Sor Thanikul it be a very hard fight, he beat me by KO, my fights against Wangchanoi, Kaensak, Karuhat and Chatchai was also hard…
Your best memory of boxing?
My first belt of Lumpinee against Jaroenchap, and my first victory against Langsuan, it was a great champion, we met twice with a victory each!
What are the known fighters that you faced?
I faced many champions, Chatchai, Karuhat, Kaensak, Langsuan, Lippidet, Namkabuan, Joktai, Jaroenchap, Matee, Samkor, Rambojiew, Namsaknoi, Boonlai, Wangchanoi, Toto, Thongchai, Hansuk, Kaoponglek, Attachai, Khunpinit, Sangmorakot, Krekchai, Rittichai, Chungnoen…

You often fought abroad?
I have make two fights abroad, one in Holland and one in Japan, I gained both fights!
What is according to you the best foreign fighter in Muay Thai, before and today?
The best in the time were Ramon Dekkers and Dany Bill, then Chong Skarbowsky, he was also very strong, today I find the young person Damian Sitnumnoi (Damien Alamos) very good!
And the best Thai fighter today, it’s who for you?
I think that it’s Saenchai!
What was your promoter when you fought?
Songchai Ratanasuban
You gained good purse in the time?
Yes of very good purse, my first purse was 100 bahts and my biggest purse was 200 000 bahts!
Today you became a trainer?
Yes I’m a trainer and I’m going to open my camp soon, in 3 months to Ubon Ratchathani who will be called Sor Sumalee Gym or Lamnamoon Muaythai Gym, I would be a trainer, manager, owner, I’m make at the same time (Laughter)!

Lamnamoon Sor Sumale makes left the great champions of “The Golden Age ” of Muay Thai in Thailand. In the 90s, it rangy fighter mastered marvelously the techniques of blow of knees and his techniques of clinch were magnificent. His knocks of knees were so afraid that the fans of Muay Thai had nicknamed him “Khun Khao Weetaan” (The blow of knees of the Vampire). Weetaan in Thailand is a kind of mythical ghost who haunts cemeteries, it’s the equivalent of vampires for the Westerners. Weetaan is a evil spirit, Lamnamoon thus had very vicious techniques of knocks of knees!
Lamnamoon was formed in the famous camp Sor Sumalee in the side of the other stars such as Deachkalon, Panomrunglek, Superlek and Jompoblek!
Deachkalon Sor Sumalee gained the belt of Lumpinee and a belt WBC, he has his own camp to Phuket, Panomrunglek Chor Sawat was a champion of the Lumpinee, he faced in particular the great champion Dany Bill (Victory of Dany Bill), Panomrunglek died a few years ago, Superlek Sor Sumalee known also under the name of Superlek Sor Esaan was an immense champion who took away two belts of Lumpinee, it’s unfortunately also dead in May, 2013…
