LEKKLA TANASURANAKORN: Very well, thank you…

How old are you?

I am 28 years old

You come of what region of the Thailand?

I am from the city of Chayaphum in the northeast, it is not far from the city of Nakhon Ratchassima (Korat)…

Have you brothers and sisters?

We are three children in the family, two boys and a girl

Your brother is a boxer?

Yes my older brother was a good fighter, he trained in the same camp as I in Tanasuranakorn Gym but he has to stop his boxer’s career today…

You were a brawler when you were a child?

Not all…

You began the boxing at which age?

In 10 years

How did you discover the boxing?

I had a good friend who often fought, every time I was going to see him fighting and it is him who gave me then the envy to make of the boxing…

You began Muay Thai in which camp?

I began in a quite small camp near my home to Chayaphum, I stayed 7 years in camp then in 17 years I went to the camp Tanasuranakorn to Korat and I am in camp since 11 years now…

 

You sleep in the camp?

Yes I have a room which I share with other fighters…

 

At what age you have make your first fight?

In 10 years, I gained my fight at points, I gained 300 bahts what is a large sum for a 10-year-old kid!

 

In what category you fight?

Before in 105 lbs then in 118 lbs and today in 127 lbs 

What are the titles which you gained?

I gained two belts, in 2006, I gained champion’s belt of Thailand in 105 lbs against Petboonchu FA Group and in 2009 champion’s belt of the Lumpinee in 118 lbs against Petsiri Por Siripong!

How much have you make of fights during your career?

110 fights, 80 wins, 2 draws and 28 losses

 

You gained many fights by KO?

Not a lot, just about ten victories by KO…

You have which style of boxing?

I am Fimeuu ( technician) and a little Muay Khao (Strong in knees) also…

 

What was your hardest fight?

My fight against Sam-A Thor Rathanakiat (Match with dumpan one million bahts), in 2011 Lumpinee, a very hard match, he very hurt me in legs, I had difficulty in walking after this fight, I lost in points against Sam-A, it is a great fighter, he had beaten me in 2009 ..

Your best memory of boxing?

My victory on Wutidet Lookprabat, in Lumpinee in 2011, it is a very great champion, in more I wins by KO, a big memory!

What are the known Thai boxers whom you faced?

Petboonchu (Victory), Rungpet (3 victories), Sam-A (2 defeats), Wuttidet (Victory by KO), Kongsak (Defeat), Petsiri (2 victories), Rungrunglek (Defeat), Kungwanlek (Victory), Farsatarn (Victory), Dungpichid (Victory), Manasak (Defeat), Pokeaw (Defeat), Palungtip (1 defeat, 1 draw), Prab (Victory), Tingtong (Victory), Tongchai (Defeat), Ritidej (Victory), Chatchainoi (Victory)!

You have already fought abroad?

Yes once in Japan, I gained at points the match…

You would like to go to fight in France?

Yes of course, if we propose me no problem!

You know French boxers?

I know Fabio Pinca, the one who gained Thai Fight in the TV, he is very good!

The nakmuay thai best foreigner, for you it is who?

For me the best which I saw fighting is Stong Skarbowsky, it was very strong!

And the best Thai fighter, today, it is who according to you?

Seanchai Sor Kingstar is!

What technique you most like making in fight?

All the techniques with elbows!

You make a good living with the boxing?

Yes I was able to buy a house to Chayaphum and a car also…

April 17th in Lumpinee against Kaimookhao

Lekkla lost in points, in Lumpinee, his fight against Kaimookhao Wacharachaigym.
