I am 16 years old

You come of what region of the Thailand?

I come from city of Mancha Khiri in the province of Khon Kaen to the northeast of the Thailand

You have brothers and sisters?

No I am an only child

Teenager you were rather a brawler or at all?

Not at all, I fought only on the boxing ring…

You began the boxing at which age?

In 6 years

It is very young 6-year-old, you have make your first fight in 6 years?

Yes in 6 years!

How you discovered the boxing?

My father is a former boxer, it is him who made me discover the boxing any young…

You began Muay Thai in which camp?

It was not in a camp, I trained at home, it is my father who always trained me…

You came to which age to Bangkok, in which camp?

I came to 15 years, I was in the camp 13 Coins Gym in Bangkok, it has been one year since I am over there now…

You live in the camp?

Yes I have my room here

In what category you fight?

In 115 lbs (52 kg)

What are the titles which you gained?

I gained in 2012, the belt of Lumpinee in 105 lbs against Phet Lukmakhamwan, the belt of Radja in 108 lbs against Dedkad Por Pongsawan, World champion’s belt S1 in 110 lbs against Kudsakornnoi Sor Junlasen, the belt of Radja in 112 lbs against Prajanchay Por Phetnamtong and in 2013, the belt of Radja in 115 lbs against Insee Kao Rachanon!

What was so far your hardest fight?

My fight against Dedkad Por Pongsawan for the belt of Radja in 108 lbs. It is a very dangerous fighter with his fists, his punches very hurt me from the first round!

Your best memory of boxing until today?

My victories on Prajanchay (Radja champion), it is a great fighter, very technical, I met him twice and I won twice in front of him (In Lumpinee in November, 2012 and in April in 2013)!

I know Stong Skarbowsky, I saw his fights in video, he is very strong!

For you who is the best nakmuay foreigner?

For me two better foreign fighters than I saw fighting on videos they are Ramon Dekkers (RIP) and Stong Skarbowsky!

And the best Thai boxer at present it is who for you?

It is Seanchai Sor Kingstar, a great technician, I train with him and he taught me several techniques, in more we are native of the same region…

You are very young but you make already very well your living thanks to the boxing?

Yes, now I make fights with on average 100 000-baht purse what is with regard to other fighters a lot. I have already gained 800 000 bahts, I have a car, a house. As I am only 16 years old it is my father who manages my money. But I have to put some money aside because boxer’s career does not last for a long time…

Who is your promoter?

It is Songchai Ratanasuban (Promoter N°1 of Radja)!

What technique you love most in fight?

I love all the techniques with legs

You win, victories to victories, what is your secret?

I meditate every day, and I go every day to the Temple to make offerings…

After the boxing, what you want to make?

I already want to make a good career later I would see…

You would like to become a trainer then?

If it is compatible with my job, can be, yes…

May 10th in Lumpinee against Wanchana Oor Bunchuy (N°2 Lumpinee, N°3 Radja)

Sangmanee ” Jewels of light ” Sor Tienpoh who has just had 16 years in March, 2013 is the new boy wonder of Muay Thai.

This gifted child called ” Tharok Nung Laan ” (Million dollar Baby) is already a champion of the Radja in 108 lbs, 112 lbs and in 115 lbs, champion of the Lumpinee in 105 lbs and World champion S1 in 110 lbs. His last title, Sangmanee gained on February 21st, 2013, in Radja, against Insee Kao Rachanon, so hanging on the fifth belt to his fight record, the belt of Radja in 115 lbs which he always holds!
He fought for the belt of Lumpinee in 115 lbs in December, 2012 against Superlek Wor Sangprapai which held the title but he lost in points.

Sangmanee fight with big sum of dumpan in game, during its match for champion’s belt of the Lumpinee in 105 lbs against Pet Lukmakhamwan, the dumpan was 600 000 bahts, a dumpan gained by the team Sangmanee…

Sangmanee beat the best fighters of moment such as Prajanchay Por Phetnamtong, Cherry Sitdarpauan, Kanongsuek Sor Sritong, Ruengsak Sitniwat (KO), Nikhomlek Tor Tawat, Phet Lukmakhamwan, Dedkad Por Pongsawan, Kudsakornnoi Sor Junlasen, Insee Kao Rachanon!
Sangmanee received in 2012 the award of ” Best fighter of the year “, this honorary trophy which was also awarded to Yodvichai Por Boonsit the same year.

Sangmanee is a real phenomenon because contrary to the other fighters he continues to follow important studies. He is going to train only having to spend his day at the school. It is sometimes hard to reconcile high-level sports and the studies but at the moment the young Sangmanee gets out of it very well.

This teenager is an enthusiast of football and his favorite team is FC Barcelona, he is a fan of the world star of the football, Lionel Messi. Sangmanee is also a devotee admirer of Gandhi, the spiritual guide the most known for India, follower of the not violence…

He trains in the same camp as the star Seanchai Sor Kingstar, in 13 Coins Gym in Bangkok. And Sangmanee is a great technician who has a boxing of the same style as his partner of training, the genius of boxing rings Seanchai.

Today, Sangmanee gain the biggest purse as Seanchai, 100 000 bahts, what is enormous for a 16-year-old young man. This “handsome boy” became a real small star in Thailand, he is permanently followed by fans, especially girls, who support him in all the fights…

His manager has of big ambition for his prodigious boxer, he wants to concentrate him to the Boxing so that he participates in the Olympic Games of 2016 and win a golden medal. Challenge is interesting because the Thai government had promised the 100 000 million bahts sum for the boxer who would bring back a golden medal during the Olympic Games of London in 2012. The boxer Kaeo Prongpayoon had almost succeeded by won the silver medal in the Olympic Games of 2012!
