THANONCHAI THANAKORN: Very well, thank you
How old are you?
I’m 22 years old
You come of what region of the Thailand?
I was born to Satuek, a city in the region of Buriram in the northeast of the Thailand
What study you have make?
I have study in the industrial technology (The electrical energy), I have my Advanced technician’s certificate
You have brothers and sisters?
I have a brother and a sister
Your brother is also a boxer?
No he’s too small still to make of the boxing…
You began the boxing at which age?
I began the boxing at the age of 12
How you discovered the boxing?
My father adores the boxing, I looked with him at the matches at the television, it’s him who gave me the passion for the boxing
At what age did you do your first fight?
I made my first fight a few months after beginning my training in Muay Thai at the age of 12
You won your fight?
Yes I won my fight by second-round knockout and I won the sum of 200 baht!
In what camp you began your training?
I trained with my father at my home. Then, Master Palanoy Kietanane (Three times Lumpinee champion) took me to Professor Sangtiennoi Sor Rungroj (Lumpinee Champion, Radja champion) in the camp Thor Sangtiennoi to Phatumthani, I began to fight under the name of Thanonchai Kepmoukhornchanok for this camp then with the name of the camp Thanonchai Thor Sangtiennoi. I stayed several years in the camp Thor Sangtiennoi. I’m trained also with Khru Sangtiennoi to the camp Baan Muay Thai which closed. And now I’m in the camp Poptheeratham Gym, Master Payakaroon’s camp (Samart Payakaroon) who is my professor today. My trainers are Khru Kop, Khru Peun, Khru Nee and Khru Oy. I fight from now on under the name of Thanonchai Thanakorn. Mr. Thanakorn Jiraponsousakoun is the financier of my official sponsor

There was Moset (S1 World Champion), Faasawang (Radja Champion), Tiankao, Palangchai…

I was fighting at 115 lbs, 126 lbs and now 130 lbs!
You won belts of big stadiums?
I once fought for Radja belt in 115 lbs in 2007 against Yodtongthai Por Telakoon twice for the belt of Thailand in 126 lbs, December 3, 2013 against Superlek Kiatmuu9 and February 28, 2014 against Rungpetch Kayanghaadao, and once for the belt of Lumpinee in 126 lbs, October 8, 2013 against Superbank Sakchaichote, but unfortunately I have not yet won belts…
How much have you make of fights so far?
I have make 140 fights for 86 victories, 50 defeats and 4 idraws
You have which style of boxing?
I’m a boxer who moves forward on his opponent, I like the hard fights!
What is your technique preferred in fight?
I like very much the techniques of punches and low kicks
What was your hardest fight until today?
My two fights against Seksun were very hard because Seksun is a very powerful fighter. My fights against Sangmanee were also difficult

Your best memory of boxing?
This is of beating Sangmanee because it’s a great champion!

I touch good purses between 100 000 and 130 000 bahts
What do you think to make after the boxing?
My dream it’s to have my own camp of boxing, I hope to have him one day

Thanonchai was the young boy protected from the former star of boxing rings Sangtiennoi Sor Rungroj, he improved with years to become a formidable fighter today. The punters like his boxer’s style durable boxer by moving forward on his opponents.
