The “Max Muay Thai stadium” opened his doors in November, 2014, He’s situated in Pattaya on Sukhumvit road and his accommodation capacity is about 2000 people. It’s the third stadium of the famous sea resort. The first stadium of boxing which was built in 2006 to Pattaya is the “Thepprasit stadium ( Fairtex Stadium)”, then he had “Pattaya Boxing World stadium” which was created in 2012.

Today, the stadium of Max Muay Thai has become a key event of Muay Thai in the Pattaya area. Every Sunday evening, fights take place in this stadium, fights broadcast in live by the channel 8, commented by renowned journalists such as the specialist of the Muay Thai in Thailand, Rob Cox!

The owner of this magnificent stadium is Mr Nawat Tohjaroensuk who is deputy of the region of Khon Kaen in the Northeast, his son Mr Asira Tohjaroensuk is the official president of the stadium Max Muay Thai!

The concept of Max Muay Thai, created in 2013 by Mr Narit Wongprasertkan (Boss of the brand Top King), is already well known with it’s famous belts competed in Thailand and almost everywhere in the world. The superstar Buakaw was even promoter of this worldl event. But from now on, the belts of the Max Muay Thai shall gain within his own stadium!
The final belt of the Max Muay Thai wins by tournament eliminating during the year. Four champions take away at first the belt Max Muay Thai color Silver,these champions are then in confrontation for the big final which indicates the winner of the belt Max Muay Thai color Gold. The next big final for the Golden belt will take place in December, 2015, the winner in this big final will pocket the million baht sum!
The fights to the Max Muay Thai are made in three rounds of three minutes. And there are only three weighty categories for the tournaments of the Max Muay Thai, the category of – 67 kg, the category of – 70 kg and the category of – 72 kg. Great champions such as Buakaw Banchamek, Aikpracha Meenayothin, Kem Sitsongpeenong and Sittichai Sitsongpeenong have fought for Max Muay Thai!
The champions who have won the famous Max Muay Thai belt Golden are , Chanachai Kaewsamrit in – 72 Kg, Sakeddao Phetpayathai and Jomthong Chuwattana in -. 67 Kg. Chanachai won his belt in Max Muay Thai stadium of Pattaya in 2015 by beating Kanongsuk Chuwattana, Sakeddao won his belt in 2013 in Khon Kaen in north-east face to the Australian Victor Nagbe and Jomthong won his belt in 2014 in Bangkok against Jingreedtong Seatransferry!
Other champions who won the belt Max Muay Thai Silver are, in – 67 Kg, Jingreedtong Seatransferry, Raphael Bohic, Victor Nagbe and Andre Kulebin, in – 70 Kg, Charles Francois, Mohamed Souane, in – 72 Kg, Kanongsuk Chuwattana, Adaylton Freitas, Chanchai Sittisukato and Youssef Boughanem!
The Thai Jingreedtong Seatransferry won his silver belt in 2013 in Japan against the French Dylan Salvador, the French Raphael Bohic won his belt in 2014 in China against the Chinese Guo Dongwang, Belarusian André Kulebin defeated by KO Petchasawin Seatransferry at Surin in Northeast in 2013, the Australian Victor Nagbe was crowned champion Max Muay Thai Silver in 2013 facing Fabio Pinca in the stadium Pattaya Boxing World, the French Charles François and Mohamed Souane have both won their belt in Max Muay Thai stadium of Pattaya in 2015, Kanongsuk Chuwattana won his belt in 2014 at Pattaya but in the stadium Pattaya Boxing World, he beat Russian Yuri SuperProSamui, Brazilian Adaylton Freitas also won his belt to Pattaya Boxing World in 2014 against Ukrainian Ruslan Kushnirenko and Chanchai Sittisukato also in Pattaya Boxing World in 2014 who beat Ilias Iranian Sor Keawsuk, Youssef Boughanem won his belt against Fahkmongkol in 2014 for the opening of the stadium Max Muay Thai, he also fought for the final tournament of Max Muay Thai belt Golden in 2015 against the current champion of Radja Kanongsuk Chuwattana. Youssef lost by disqualification after a controversial match that made much talk in the world muay thai of Pattaya…
So, in 2015, the stadium Max Muay Thai served as decoration for one big French film production entitled “Pattaya”. A movie realized by the actor Franck Gastambide who is the author of the famous movie ” Les Kaira “. The movie ” Pattaya ” includes several french stars of the cinema such as Ramzy Bedia, Gad Elmaleh and Malik Bentalha. And of course, the Muay Thai is put in the honor in this comedy which will go out on the French screens at the beginning of year 2016!
