THE OPPOSITIONS OF FIGHTS OF STYLES DIFFERENT IN MUAY THAI

Muay Thai is a contact sport which includes numerous styles such as Fimeuu (Technician), Muay Khao (Strong with the knocks of knees), Muay Bouk (Fighter who moves forward), Muay Mat (Strong with fists), Muay Sok (Strong with the pokes), Muay Pam (Strong with clinch), Muay Tei (Strong with the kicks).

In Thailand, boxer’s styles that have him find most frequently are Fimeuu and Muay Khao, Fimeuu is often also Muay Sok, Muay Tei and Muay Pam. Then, come Muay Bouk and Muay Mat, styles that have him sees a little less usually among the professional fighters.

Fimeuu is a boxer who control the technique, who uses and knows all a wide range of techniques of Muay Thai, his style is precise and effective, he possesses a “beautiful boxing” which pleases the purist of the Muay Thai.

Muay Khao is a boxer in the often rangy morphology, what allows him he can use his long segments in particular the knees in a hard-hitting way. His big strong remains in efficiency of his knocks of knees.

Muay Bouk is a boxer who moves forward ceaselessly on his opponent, he not start back, it’s generally a durable boxer, his technique is limited enough but the constant pressure which he imposes to his opponent is extremely paying. The public likes this kind of spectacular fighter.

Muay Mat is a very strong boxer with his fists. He controls all the techniques of fists, most of Muay Mat are innate puncheurs. With Muay Mat, at any time, the fight can end by KO. So, many Muay Mat after their career in Muay Thai do a career in Boxing.

The fights between Fimeuu or between Muay Khao are always very beautiful to see. But what is very interesting also in the matches of Muay Thai they are the oppositions of different styles. Because it offers sensational fights which allow to appreciate the most effective styles of every fighter. The boxers fimeuu often win in the face of all the styles, Muay Mat can abbreviate brutally a fight against any boxer’s style, Muay Bouk never admits defeat and Muay Khao can also destroy technical and powerful boxers with the repetition of his violent blows of knees.

In the Thai circuit of the professional boxers the oppositions with different styles the most frequent are Fimeuu against Muay Khao.

Then, the diversity of the fighters in Thailand is so important that have attend him often also meetings between Muay Khao against Muay Bouk, Muay Khao against Muay Mat, Muay Mat against Fimeuu, Muay Mat against Muay Bouk and Muay Bouk against Fimeuu.
