The categories of 135 lbs and 140 lbs are currently categories where evolve great Thai champions who have often met several times. Great stars of the rings fight in these very high categories such as Superlek, Tanonchai, Phanpayak, Rodtang, Yodlekphet, Sangmanee, Seksan, Tawanchai, Kulapdam, Muangthai.
French Yod (Super Champion) Rafi Singpatong (Lumpinee Champion, WMC World Champion, WBC World Champion) although he is normally in the 147 lbs category (Rafi is the current Lumpinee Champion in 147 lbs), has recently challenged champions in this category, he made fights in 140 lbs against champions like Inseetong Por Pinnapath (Victory), Attachai Thor Morsee (Victory), Kongsak PK Saenchai Gym (Victory), Chujaroen Dabransarakarm (Defeat), Manachai Yokhaosanchai Gym (Victory), Chamuakthong Fighter Muay Thai (Victory), Yodpanomrung Jitmuangnon (Victory), Sangmanee Sor Tienpho (Defeat), Yodlekphet Or Pitisak (Defeat).

Malaysian champion Amir Nasri (WMC World Champion, A1 World Champion) fighting for the Tiger Muay Thai Gym in Phuket also won in the 140 lbs category. On July 27, 2019, he became the second foreigner in the world to win the Omnoi stadium belt (The first is Youssef Boughanem, Omnoi champion in 160 lbs in 2015). Amir Nasri defeated Petchmahachon Jitmuangnon for the title of Omnoi champion in 140 lbs!

Particular Sign: Superlek is the nephew of star Singdam Kiatmuu 9 and champion Suadam Kiatmuu 9. This young prodigy was already champion of Thailand at only 16 years old and at just 17 years old he became champion of Lumpinee. Superlek was elected “Best Boxer of the Year 2012” by the Sports Authority of Thailand. In 2014, Superlek beat two great champions by KO. Particular Sign: Rodtang comes from a very poor family whose parents worked in the latex harvest, he’s the 8th child of a family of 10 brothers and sisters. Rodtang was trained at the Kietchoochom Gym in Paphayom in the southern region of Phattalung. At the age of 13, he joined the famous Jitmuangnon Gym in Bangkok, his first birthday cake was offered by the owners of the Jitmuangnon Gym, for lack of financial means, Rodtang’s parents were never able to buy him a cake or a birthday present. His fighting name Rodtang (Battle Tank) was given to him by his first coach who loved the Radja champion, Peunkon (Machine Gun) Thor Surat who is also from the Phattalung region. And Rodtang carried his fighting name well because he became a powerful Muay Mat (Strong in fist) who advances over his opponents like a tank, taking the hits. Rodtang is nicknamed by Muay Thai fans «The Iron Man». Today, Rodtang has become very rich thanks to his big purse which he receives in particular in the famous One Championship organization. On August 2, 2019, he won the One Championship World Champion Belt by defeating English Jonathan Haggerty, a belt he victoriously defended two months later against Brazilian Walter Goncalves

Particular Sign: Nuenglanlek is the eldest of a family of three brothers and sisters. He was trained at Muay Thai at the age of 6 by his father, a former great boxer named Neungpeuncent Sor Rungniwet. Nuenglanlek fought under the name of Pornpitak Sit Phorjor, he fought for several boxing camps such as the Sor Rathanakhun, the Sittikanchai and the Sor Sommai Gym before joining the Jitmuangnon Gym at the age of 18 where he is now. Nicknamed Khun Hua Khao Phalang Maa (The knee with horse power), it is a formidable Muay Khao (Strong in knees). On August 5, 2016, he won the Lumpinee belt in 130 lbs against TV7 champion Jamsak Sakburiram. Nuenglanlek is one of the few fighters to have twice beaten by KO stars Kulapdam Sor Jor Piak Uthai and Muangthai P.K. Saenchai Gym
